This is a very nice little table for my small space. And the top is a fairly thick cherry veneer. Not ‘cherry’ stain on some other wood. Really pretty under my window.

The table is attractive. The fasteners were well packaged on a shrink-wrapped piece of cardboard instead of the usual plastic bag. Each drop leaf had its own pattern of predrilled holes to prevent putting it on the wrong side. The leaves have a plastic guard underneath to make the slide out more secure. The table is heavy but that is what makes it sturdy.
